The logmakers compact
and lightweight design means that its both easy to store and
easy to use, its just 37cm long with a diameter of just 9cm.
This means that the logs that the log maker produces can easily
fit straight into the smallest of hearths and rayburns without
having to chop or amke them any smaller like wood. The logmaker
is also light so if even if your out on a camping trip or
a bonfire in the woods with friends why not bring along your
logsmaker so you disguard of all your paper remnants in the
fire without just throwing it on loose and making the skies
light with embers.
The LogMakers advantage is that it is so easy to use, simply
place a sheet of paper round the outside of the shank and
cover over the bottom of the device. Then place old paper
and other 'burnable' materials (egg boxes, saw dust, toilet
roll card etc etc) into the tube and compress from the top.
When the logmaker os half full of waste, simply lift the device
and push the paper log into the sleeve of the outside paper
and tie both ends. Bingo - you have a paper log.
The more you compress the waste the slower the burning. Some
people have said that if you dampen the paper before you compress
it helps the paper bond and makes a more compressed and slower
burning log. The only disadvantage I can see is that after
making the log you have to let it dry in a warm and dry place
before you can use it on your fire.

If your feeling experimental why not try placing spices
like cinnamon or pine needle to make your fire produce
a warming aroma thats both pleasing and natural. |
